Enzo Belli, founder of the company
The company was founded in 1958 by Enzo Belli who, growing up under the guidance of his grandfather and "master baker" Aristide, decided to put his wide knowledge of traditional Tuscan patisserie and the handling of the  "mother leaven" to use to create a small patisserie workshop.
The idea proved a success from the beginning and the Biscottificio Belli managed, year after year, to develop its own market beyond the confines of Tuscany, becoming one of the most important companies in the sector.
The philosophy which lies behind this success is simple but effective: choosing the best ingredients, following the traditional recipe with care, working in safe and healthy premises as regards hygiene and lastly, paying the maximum attention to the demands of the client and final consumer as much as to the needs of each single product.
It's the same philosophy continued today by his wife Carla and children Barbara and Giovanni who continue the work started by the company's founder.

Biscottificio Belli currently operates in a factory of 4000 sq.m. in Calenzano (Florence) availing of state-of-the art production technology.
Our products are exported to over 20 different countries and exports account for over 70% of total turnover.
